We often need to pay attention to some details when connecting cables or sockets. These details directly affect our electricity safety. The following describes the points for attention when wiring.
The left side of the socket shall be connected with a null wire (N) and the right side with a live wire (L) with an upper side earth wire (E). The live wires are generally red, yellow or blue, the null wires are generally blue or black, and the earth wires are generally yellowish green.
People use three-phase four-wire system to transmit power in low-voltage power grid, in which three phase wires (live wires) represent A、B、C three phases respectively, and one wire represents neutral wire N(null wire). For the safety of electricity, the power supply mode is changed to three-phase five-wire system in the user area, and the fifth line is the ground protection wire (earth wire). One end of the earth wire is buried deep in the ground near the user area by a metal conductor, and the other end is connected with the contact point of the earth wire of each user, which plays the role of ground protection.
The earth wire is the wire connecting the shell of equipment or electrical appliance to the earth, which is a good scheme to prevent electric shock accident. The correct use of earth wire can improve the anti-interference ability of the whole power system. Most of the power sockets we use are single-phase three-wire sockets or single-phase two-wire sockets.
1. Before connecting the power socket, you must know whether the copper wire of the cable has been interlocked and wound. Only in this way can we ensure that the cable connector does not have the condition of ignition, short circuit and poor contact. Of course, this is the basic skill of all electricians.
2. If there is a fire or short circuit in connection, please don't worry. In fact, solving this problem is not difficult. The main reason for this situation is the lack of the correct connection head. After the terminal is loose, the high load current flowing through the terminal will repel each other. At the same time, the temperature of the terminal will rise rapidly. The high temperature may cause the terminal to stick together, it will be charged, if the terminal can not be electrified, it will form a short circuit.
3. After connecting the cable, it needs to be handled simply. The method is very simple, you can paste the black fire proof tape on the connection position of the cable. The function of black fire proof tape is insulation and fire proof. Only in this way can we ensure the safety of using electric energy.
4. Nowadays, many people no longer use the method of the black fire proof tape, but use wire caps. The wire cap is a small tool specially used for wiring, easy to use and safe. It should be noted that each cable needs to be marked differently so that it is easy to maintain and check. Normally, the high voltage wire and the low voltage wire must be marked.
