WHAT IS COPPER TERMINAL?

5. Calculation Method of Copper Terminals

The quantity of engeering work is calculated by 10 crimping copper terminals as a unit, and the terminals are calculated by the main material. Crimping terminal has been included in the production of cable terminal head, so the engeering work quantity of crimping terminal will not be calculated separately, but the terminal will still be calculated by main material. 

Generally, the engeering quantities of terminal boards of low-voltage switchgear and copper terminals need not be calculated. These costs should be included in the price of finished low-voltage switchgear. The crimping copper terminal is included in the engeering work quantity of cable terminal head and cannot be calculated by other items. Generally, the cable terminal will not be calculated under 62, and only the copper terminal will be calculated. The calculation method is based on the number of wires, and there are several terminals for several wires.

Generally, for wires of 6mm2 and below, whether there is a terminal or not, apply terminal free external wiring and terminal external wiring respectively according to the actual wiring. For wires of 10mm2 and above with large cross-section, apply two subitems including welded copper terminal and pressed copper terminal.
